The Church

We are a small, but growing, country church outside Kingsland Arkansas. You will find that our church family is warm, inviting, hospitable, and kind. We truly enjoy seeing new faces and meeting new people! Our passion is to see every believer engaged in the mission of the Church as communicated through Jesus Christ in the "Great Commision" (Matthew 28:19-20) and the "Great Commandments" (Mark 12:30-32). Smith Chapel Church of God is affiliated with The Church of God in Anderson Indiana. The Pastor

Pastor Shane Matthews lives in Kingsland Arkansas with his wife of twenty years April, and their two children, Bella and Little Shane. He is an Ordained Minister of the Church of God Anderson and has his B.S. in Christian Ministries from Mid America Christian University. He has a passion for Jesus Christ, both his life and teachings, and lives to share the good news of Jesus and help disciple His followers.
